Natalie Bresee

Investigator, CHEO Research Institute

Dr. Natalie Bresee completed her Pediatric residency training at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and later completed her Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship in 2016 at the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Bresee is a staff Pediatric Emergency Physician at CHEO with interest in the effects of marginalization on health and equity in health care. Her interests also extend to quality improvement in the treatment of pediatric pain. Dr. Bresee is a member of the pediatric SAGE committee for the pediatric residency program at the University of Ottawa. She is also part of the Pediatric cluster and Science outreach communication committee at Health Canada.

    Further studies to improve our understanding of pathogenesis of MIS-A will help improve treatment decisions and prevent sequelae and death.

  2. No association between metoclopramide treatment in ED and reduced risk of post-concussion headache

    Further research is necessary to determine which pharmacotherapies may be effective for acute and persistent post-concussive headache.
