Lay Summary: We are seeking individuals with cerebral palsy who are able to walk independently (with or without aids/walker) and control subjects without cerebral palsy who have no walking or gait issues. We are looking for participants from 2 to 18 years old, both male and female.

The study session will take approximately 1-2 hours to complete, and you may be invited for a second study session approximately 6 months to 1 year later.

This study is looking at how we can capture and analyze 3D video data around gait/walking and balance for those with cerebral palsy. The aim is to determine if 3D video can complete gait analysis automatically using AI (artificial intelligence) processing of the video instead of it being done by a health care practitioner. This technology is very new and we are exploring whether it will work with kids of different sizes as well as with people who use gait aids like canes, crutches, or walkers. We hope that if it is successful this technology could allow better access to gait analysis and free up health care provider time currently spent doing these assessments.
