Core Innovation brings its successful formula across the pond; insights to be shared at conference

“Why innovation is so difficult and yet so fun.”

The challenges and triumphs of innovating in health care were clear to the CHEO Research Institute’s Core Innovation Medical Director, Dr. Matthew Bromwich at the Alder Hey Innovation Conference in Liverpool. The event, one of the UK’s most forward-looking gatherings in children’s health, brought together leaders across care, technology, and research to explore what’s next for pediatric innovation.

Core Innovation was among key presenters, highlighting the focus on bringing clinicians, researchers, companies, families, and system partners into a shared space. Core Innovation’s tried and tested program was highlighted as part of a growing ecosystem of passionate innovators seeking real solutions to health care’s problems.

Following the conference, H.J. Jardine, Director of Research Integration and Innovation, continued sharing Core Innovation insights with, and learning from, innovation teams in Liverpool, Birmingham, Sheffield and Manchester on how to improve children’s health through innovation and what role Canada is already playing.

The Core Innovation program is increasingly being nationally and internationally recognized for delivering practical, collaborative innovation that strengthens care for children and youth. Engaging with partners the world over reinforces the value of the model and showcases Canada’s growing role in the global pediatric innovation landscape.

Benefit from these insights at the upcoming Health-Tech Innovation Conference
