My CHEO Story
My family has been well acquainted with CHEO through my sisters knee surgery and many unfortunate concussions. We have been so grateful for the incredible care she received and I am
excited to be able to give back by taking on the role of a Research Project Reviewer/Advisor. As a competitive dancer, I’ve also known of many other sports-related injuries and mental health issues like eating disorders treated at Cheo.
Why I'm involved
I am very interested in the research aspect of medicine and would love to learn more about it while giving back to a community that has supported so many young individuals like my sister. I value this program as I will have the ability to learn about various medical sectors while being involved in the research process, which I find extremely interesting. I would love to pursue a career in this field in the future.
