My CHEO Story
I was born with bilateral congenital Microtia, right sided Atresia, auricular fusion on the left, all resulting in severe sensory neural/conductive hearing loss. I started receiving care through CHEO at 2 years old through ENT/Audiology. Through the care at CHEO, I went from severely hard of hearing, shy kid with a lisp to a well versed outspoken advocate with a large personality.
