Ottawa, Ontario — Monday August 19, 2019
Summer Student Research Day on August 16th 2019 was a huge success! 26 summer students presented the work they did on a range of basic science and clinical research projects this summer and all competed for the Serge Taillon Summer Studentship Prize.
Congratulations to the two winners of the Serge Taillon Summer Studentship Prize: Jamie Ghossein (Clinical, supervisor: Dr. Daniela Pohl ) for presenting “Detection of Pediatric Electrographic Seizures by Non-Expert EEG Readers” and Jasmine Bhatti (Biomedical, supervisor: Dr. Pranesh Chakraborty) for presenting “Dried Blood Spot Analysis via Untargeted Metabolomics to Build a Gestational Age Model”. It was a great day!
