Rebecca is a Registered Nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) where she works in the Emergency Department and on the Sexual Assault Nursing Team. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees at the University of Ottawa. She is currently completing her doctorate with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, division of Social and Behavioural Health Sciences, at the University of Toronto. Rebecca has led or contributed to peer-reviewed journal articles, oral presentations, and abstract presentations on a variety of topics including pediatric cancer care, nursing education, patient and family engagement in healthcare education, and pediatric emergency mental health care.
